My desire as a therapist and spiritual director is to sit with those who are hurting and to walk alongside those who are on a journey towards healing and wholeness. My passion is in helping people discover who they are at their core-in their core relationship with their Creator who is the only One who can tell them who they are and that they are okay. I particularly enjoy sitting with women and men who are dealing with grief and transition, perhaps having lost a sense of direction and/or purpose in their life. Whether from relationship changes or loss, job shifts, or other forms of loss, we all need to grieve what has been left behind and learn how to move into what lies ahead.  In both positive and difficult changes in our lives, adjustment can sometimes be difficult and we often feel disoriented. We long for more—not more stuff—but for a deeper sense of meaning and for greater connection.

I long to help people let go of the stuff of life—those things and people that we hope will approve of us, tell us who we are or that we are okay—and cling to the truth that they are loved and held by God. It is in clinging to this truth that we can find contentment in spite of difficult or challenging circumstances.

I long to help people:

  • Find their passions and live them
  • Discover their strengths
  • Discover who they really are
  • Find peace, joy, and contentment in the midst of difficult circumstances

Sitting with people in their brokenness is both an honor and a privilege. It is sacred ground. This is not a privilege to be taken lightly but, rather, with humility, love, and deep respect for those who allow me into the deep, private areas of their lives.
